We are now looking for a Senior Customer Success Manager to join #TeamGreen in the US. The role can be based from our Denver-HQ, or remotely across the US.


As masters of Success Management principles and processes, Senior CSMs drive adoption, retention and expansion by aligning customer needs and relationship management with best in class Customer Success tools and methodologies with our most important enterprise customers. Matillion Senior CSMs are seasoned experts in Success Management and technology that works with data, adept at manufacturing positive mutual business outcomes with customers by proactively acting as trusted advisors, responsible for driving adoption and optimized use of the Matillion platform. 


What you will be doing;

Drive adoption, retention and expansion

  • Manage a book of Enterprise customers, driving account health, consumption and revenue growth. 
  • Guide customers proactively along their data Integration journey using Matillion products
  • Drive plans, strategies, positive outcomes with Customer Success tools including success plans, customer journeys, playbooks, etc. 
  • Use your strong Executive presence to build relationships with Customers’ C-suite and hold highly impactful EBRs
  • Create, own and follow through success plans that drive strategic results
  • Persuade customer participation in Advisory Boards, case studies, testimonials
  • Identify and own resolution of internal and external challenges, opportunities as they arise
  • Use your creative mindset to find new ways to improve customers’ use, satisfaction, consumption of Matillion products

Cross functional collaboration

  • Work as a team with Sales, Customer Success, Alliances, Marketing and Product on shared account management activities
  • Responsible for drawing upon the skills and resources across the organization to continually provide value that supports our biggest customers’ adoption and growth
  • Collaborate closely with CS Ops, Sales Ops, and IT to continuously improve our tools, processes and capabilities
  • Contribute to knowledge base with articles, internal and customer-facing artifacts
  • Evangelize new product features & provide customer feedback to Matillion’s Product team.

What we are looking for - Essential Skills

  • 11+ years experience in customer-facing roles with a stellar track record, ranging from technology, data, pre-sales, consulting, product or technical account management within large, interacting with leaders at enterprise Fortune 500 companies
  • 3+ Customer Success Management experience working in a high touch engagement model, managing through key customer lifecycle milestones
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high growth environment
  • Experience working with data via SQL, ETL, databases, BI, analytics tools or use cases
  • Experience working with one or more of the cloud computing platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP
  • Architecture and design experience for enterprise-level data and analytics ecosystems

Desirable

  • A technical background, with hands-on experience delivering solutions using one of these or similar: Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery, Azure SQL Data Warehouse 
  • Experience with the software development lifecycle, under different project management styles
  • Knowledge of Enterprise IT projects, processes, protocols
  • Current knowledge, and passion for the data and application integration markets, current market trends and industry players

Personal Capabilities Required, e.g. skills, attitude, strengths

  • Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
  • Align with and demonstrate Matillion core values
  • Be able to travel to meet with customers, pandemic travel policy permitting
  • An intersection of technical skill and first-class customer communication
  • Ability to draw out and understand a customer’s unique technical requirements and business goals
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Be innovative and make an impact! On your customers, on your team, and the company.
  • Strong team player with prowess navigating cross-functional organizational structures
  • Adept at building strong relationships with customer, internal and external stakeholders
