At Xplor, our strategic partnerships help accelerate our business while enriching our customer’s experience. Currently we're looking to expand our partnership footprint in North America to accelerate our brand awareness, product reach and revenue. The partnerships we value fall into five categories: commercial, marketing, affiliate, influencer, and enhanced value. We are looking for an experienced partnerships expert to identify potential business partners and create opportunities to help Xplor grow each of these categories.
Our ideal successful candidate will have a passion for creatively exploring new possibilities with organizations with adjacent interests and forging commercial relationships. You will also have great organisational skills, keeping track of how relationships are progressing, anticipating challenges and developing creative solutions. The ability to report on partnership performance to key stakeholders and working closely with cross functional teams toward the successful execution of initiatives is also critical.
Significantly contribute to lead generation and revenue growth through the creation, nurture, and growth of positive working relationships with partners.
Identify and recruit potential service, and product providers that would benefit from a partnership with Xplor Technologies
Manage all aspects of partner relationship development from contract negotiation, enablement, training, and performance monitoring
Recognize and proactively resolve channel conflicts in a manner that is consistent with Xplor Technology’s values and long-term interests.
Act as a mentor to the Channel Partnerships Manager on best practices, negotiation tactics,, and partner go-to-market strategies
Further the company’s brand growth objectives by managing the appropriate company presence within partner brands
Collaborate with various internal stakeholders to include, sales, product, customer success and marketing centers of excellence
Forecast monthly MQL generation and consistently meet or exceed agreed upon goals and KPIs
Create monthly reports and communicate channel partner performance
Be able to travel and meet channel partners when/if necessary, to conduct presentations and further the development of new and existing relationships.
Experience / Skills Required
5+ years channel partnership development and channel partner marketing experience
5+ years of B2B marketing experience in SaaS-based software companies
Demonstrated understanding of B2B channel programs
Experience with, knowledge of, and passion for B2B SaaS Software products
Outstanding organizational skills to keep programs and teams on track and know when to ask for help.
Strong communication, storytelling, and presentation skills with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences and different functions; ability to take complex and make them simple.
Ability to operate in a fast-moving, fast-growing, ever-changing environment
Self-starter with the ability to navigate a complex organization to drive projects from idea to execution fast
Strong interpersonal skills – a blend of firmness and conviction with diplomacy and a constructive attitude
Strategic thinker with a growth mindset and bias for action
Experience in go-to-market activity with partners
Experience in negotiating technology partnerships with the intention of driving lead generation
Bachelor's degree, business related or equivalent experience
Willingness for purposeful travel
Previous success working in a matrix organization and/or cross-functional environment
Be a highly professional leader and team player with a positive, can-do attitude; must be very comfortable with continuously changing opportunities and priorities.
Experience with marketing automation tools (Pardot) and Salesforce CRM is critical
Previous experience working abroad or in an international capacity in a global company
