Job Description
The Business Development and Sales team leads commercialization for Cash App's emerging and scaling business lines. Our ambitious team develops Cash App's go-to-market strategy for our commercial products, builds effective relationships with the largest players in the finance, tech, and retail industries, and drives critical results across Cash App's most important business lines. We are looking for an experienced Account Management leader to support post-sales implementation for our most exciting and impactful product lines.
The Senior Account Manager will partner closely with leaders across Cash App to grow the company's largest and most important accounts. You'll work directly with Cash App's Sales and Product teams and collaborate with cross-functional colleagues in Marketing, Product Engineering and Analytics. You'll drive the strategy and execution for Accounts & programs critical to Cash App's success, delivering revenue that will have a massive impact on Cash App's business, and innovate at the cutting edge of payments.
You will
- Set the standard for a new category of partnerships at Cash App by managing a book of business that includes the biggest and most exciting partnerships within the company.
- Fully own a book of business by developing strategies to grow your accounts over time, including optimizing partners' current product usage, introducing new products and working closely with Cash App's marketing team.
- Become an expert in products and services across the Cash App ecosystem in order to holistically serve your merchants, making sure that they have the best of what Cash App has to offer.
- Create meaningful and collaborative relationships with cross functional teams at Cash App, most notably in business development, marketing, product and analytics.
- Advise the Account Management team and the broader organization on best practices, strategy and tooling needs to help grow the team and function more broadly.
Qualifications
- 8-10+ years of experience managing enterprise level clients (business development, account management, customer success or management consulting).
- Proven ability to build C-suite relationships as well as navigate partner organizations and internal teams to identify internal champions and to influence decision makers.
- Adept problem solving and communication skills. You're a strategic thinker who comes armed to internal and external conversations with the right data and analysis to make a convincing argument.
- A scrappy and humble mindset. You roll up your sleeves to get the job done.
- A track record of developing, coaching, and motivating high-performance teams.
