About the Opportunity:

Edelman is seeking a flexible, adaptable, and high-energy professional at the Senior Account Executive level to join our Employee Experience practice in the Washington, DC office. As part of our dynamic team, you’ll contribute to the success of several major accounts and work with some of the Edelman network’s highest-profile leaders in Employee Experience.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

  • You’ll contribute to employee engagement projects for large, global brands and apply change management process and principles to our work in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities will include:
  • Helping to develop major client deliverables such as Communications Strategies and Plans, Change Management Programs, digital engagement strategies employee activations
  • Partnering across Edelman Practices and Solutions to design and execute
  • Contributing to internal thought leadership pieces
  • Analyzing communications research
  • Collaborating on new business proposals and presentations
  • Support senior colleagues in the delivery and tactical management of consulting assignments
  • Applying or creating tools, templates and methodologies that contribute to your clients’ communication effectiveness
  • Ensuring that you and your team understand the general business strategy, products and services offered by your clients, and general issues facing their industries

More specifically, we’re looking for you to have:

  • At least two years of practical corporate communications experience, with a preference for experience in internal/workforce communications, organizational communications, change communications, M&A communications, culture communications, employee engagement, HR communications, talent acquisition and/or union/frontline communications.
  • Experience with digital/social platforms focused on workforce applications and implementation (e.g., internal-facing mobile apps, social/collaboration platforms, internal messaging platforms, etc).
  • The ability to help manage multiple small or medium-sized projects simultaneously as a team.
  • Superior writing, editing and presentation-development skills.
  • Project management and consultative skills, including effective questioning and critical thinking.
  • Ability to draft strategic client-facing deliverables and proposals.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and manage competing priorities.
  • Passion for client service and teamwork.
  • Commitment to advancing the vision of the Edelman Employee Experience practice and Corporate and Advisory Services group both
