Title: Performance Improvement Solutions Sales, Director – Financial Services

Location: Remote US

Reports to: Sr. Director, North American Sales, Global Financial Services Practice

The Role: 

The preferred candidate will collaborate with J.D. Power team members and clients to drive performance improvement solutions at leading financial services institutions. As a trusted advisor to top executives the successful candidate will be a dynamic force for change serving to identify mission critical issues and deliver solutions that make a meaningful difference for our clients and the industry. In this role you will have business development responsibility for the Global Financial Services Practice with a focus on key strategic banking and credit card issuer accounts primarily based in the US.

This role will work closely with account executives and the Financial Services Practice team in the development of a robust pipeline of opportunities. The Financial Services practice encompasses Banking, Credit Cards, Wealth Management, Home Lending, Real Estate and Auto Finance.

 Responsibilities:

  • Generates revenue by selling to Strategic account customers and key accounts in the Financial Services industry.
  • Builds and maintains senior level (VP, SVP and EVP) including C-Level relationships (CMO, Chief Customer Officer, etc.) 
  • Maintains deep knowledge of the Financial Services industry and awareness of market trends.
  • Maintains deep understanding of client strategies and can map JDPA products and solutions to client needs to grow revenues and strengthen relationships.
  • Takes initiative with Practice/Sales/PMO within JDPA to leverage resources required to maintain successful relationships with clients.
  • Manages and maintains a robust, accurate and timely opportunity pipeline in support revenue goals.
  • Creates territory and account plans to meet goal based on portfolio of clients.
  • Documents and advances opportunity activity weekly inside CRM system.
  • Significantly contributes to business development and revenue generating opportunities.
  • Comfortable with Travel 30%-50% 


Qualifications:

  • 10 + years in consultative selling with a proven track record of business development success.
  • Client or supplier side experience with sales and market research as applicable within Financial Services field
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Ability to build rapport and relationships a requirement.
  • Strong presentation/public speaking skills.
