Belcan has a current opportunity for a Sales Support Representative in Raleigh, NC for one of our key clients. The Sales Support Representative will lead and coordinate all customer-facing activities and requests for assigned customer accounts with the specific goal of achieving the annual financial and operational goals.

Provide direct support to customers and the outside sales team by leading the internal quotation process for assigned account opportunities.
Coordinate and prepare technical quotations utilizing sales and data manuals, catalogs, and product brochures, as well as input from various functional departments.
Maintain responsibility for ensuring that all elements of the quotation process are completed accurately and on-time, including all technical and commercial elements, terms and conditions reviews, sales approval processes, and customer documentation requests.
Participate in the customer negotiation process as required, including commercial and technical negotiations.
Ensure maximum profitability and order success rate are achieved and business risk is minimized.
Manage the orders generated and processed by you as they progress through the Raleigh site.
Review customer purchase orders to confirm compliance with quoted pricing, delivery, and terms of sale, and ensure that all required order elements are accurately entered into the ERP system and are processed in accordance with site procedures and instructions in addition to regulatory codes and trade compliance policies.
Collaborate with other teams and functional departments to ensure the timely and accurate completion of all internal and customer-facing actions, submittals, and approvals necessary to support the order delivery and payment schedules. This includes, but is not limited to, the release of quality plans and bills of material, execution and submittal of all documentation and software required by the contract, management of customer inspections and hold points, on-time shipment of hardware and processing of all progress payment and final invoices, bonds, and other activities required to ensure timely cash receipts.
Lead and participate in a positive and proactive manner in order to break bottlenecks on critical path items and ensure that the order activities stay on schedule.
Maintain ownership for these orders throughout the entire order life-cycle, including final cash collection as required.
Lead the complaint reporting and RMA processes for assigned customers in order to drive customer satisfaction through the effective correction and resolution of customer concerns.
Provide leadership within the site to ensure concerns are addressed accurately and in a timely manner.
Maintain your office environment to ensure it is free of clutter, clean, professional, and well-organized.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with customers, suppliers, and the Raleigh team and portray a professional image at all times.
Be supportive of co-workers and display a willingness to help others within the organization beyond the normal bounds of your immediate responsibilities.
Responsibilities & Requirements
Bachelor"s degree (Business, Engineering or a related field) or equivalent work experience
Experience in sales or customer service in an engineered manufacturing environment with proven success in administrating commercial and/or government contracts.
Demonstrated success in influencing people through effective collaboration, problem-solving and relational engagement Experience with customer relationship management, ideally in the power generation and utility industries
Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills, with strong competence in professional and accurate use of language
High proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of products
Preferred Experience / Skills
2-5 years of experience preferred
Clarity and confidence with relational communication is desired
Experience in pricing, contract review and ERP administration preferred
