NOV is actively recruiting an Executive Sales Representative to provide Solution Sales and Business Development strategies that enhances the commercial development of M/D Totco's Surface and Down Hole Digital Solution products. This role will be able to demonstrate MDT's experience, technical expertise and dedication to partner with customers to help improve drilling, completion and production operations, data management and optimization needs. This role will work closely with all US sales and operations personnel, product line, engineering, and other management resources to grow profitable revenue, product penetration and market share through existing and potential customer opportunities.

  • The account representative is the focal point for supporting and implementing the MDT digital product line sales strategy within their designated customers to achieve all profitable revenue and market share goals and objectives.
  • This role is responsible for managing, building and growing key decision maker relationships with customers.
  • Work as the primary customer point of contact during jobs/projects, managing the customers' engagement, support and expectations.
  • Understand customer problems and define value to customer from proposed solutions.
  • Assist turning product performance results into customer value, ensuring customer benefits are clearly understood.
  • Identify and interface with specific account strategies to identify the opportunities for product revenue and market share growth within the area of responsibility.
  • Identify market challenges and evaluate applicable MDT current technologies, those in development or in need of development.
  • Assist Field Operations with activity forecasting and planning.
  • Identify oil and gas market challenges and evaluate applicable MDT current technologies, those in development or in need of development.
  • Support strategic marketing with technical insight and product application offering to meet existing and future needs.
  • Represent MDT through industry associations i.e. (SPE, IADC, AADE, etc.) events and meetings.
  • Maintain assigned customer accounts and sales responsibilities.
  • Make sure all sales and operation collaboration, communication and support remain strong and aligns with operational needs.
  • Must adopt and use CRM and FSM keeping current all customer information, revenue opportunities, pricing agreements, contracts, etc.
  • Prepare and update customer strategy reports, rig equipment/pricing lists, proposals, customer presentations, new technology opportunities.
  • Monitor and play an active role in assisting AR with any past due accounts.
  • This role requires office and field visits and setting up customer meetings.
  • Must complete and pass product training along with competency testing.

  • 5 years experience in the industry
  • Previous technical experience required
  • Previous sales experience preferred
  • Bachelor's or Associates degree/diploma in a technical field is preferred
  • Downhole product knowledge and experience, considered an asset
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent social skills with the ability to negotiate
