Role/Responsibilities

Market Manager (Sales)

Catylist Commercial Real Estate Technology, a division of Moody's Analytics and a leading commercial real estate research and marketing technology provider is looking for a qualified field sales and customer service representative. Catylist provides a data rich hybrid platform combining state of the art technology, intensive data collection and a full capacity marketing application.

This position will report to a Sales Manager within the Broker Division of Moody's Analytics CRE. Catylist and Moody's use the most current internal and external communication technologies for outbound sales presentations and internal discussions. This position requires phone usage, email, in-person meetings and monitoring of sales metric activity directly in a Salesforce based CRM platform. We're seeking a focused market rep who is not only skilled at training current customers and providing customer service but is also proactive and motivated to drive growth. The candidate must possess excellent communication skills as well as relationship management skills. Travel will be 40% within assigned region. Strong self-motivation required.

Employment or industry experience in commercial real estate and an understanding of CRE technology and research data platforms preferred.
Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries and requests via phone or email in a timely fashion.
  • Document all inquiries, requests, resolutions, and follow-up tasks.
  • Raise inquiries and requests as necessary to the appropriate department or person following outlined guidelines. Follow up until resolved in a timely fashion.
  • Exhibit a courteous and empathetic demeanor to all customers.
  • Deploy a consultative approach to solution sales.
  • Educate customers and prospects on platform utility and navigation.
  • Grow existing customer accounts through web and in-office training and sales presentations.
  • Meet quantitative performance metrics as outlined.
  • Attend company sponsored conference calls.
  • Conduct web-based training sessions and sales webinars quarterly, or more frequently as needed.



Qualifications

  • Bachelors' degree
  • 3-5 years of sales or customer service experience in a SAAS or commercial real estate environment
  • Experience working within a proactive direct sales environment emphasizing inbound and outbound calls and customer retention.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a self-starter, high volume role
  • Proven track record to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
  • Digital literacy in various software and web-based applications.



Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (i.e., at least 2 weeks after last dose) and, if hired, present proof of vaccination on start date, as determined by Moody's.
