Position Title:Sales Performance Advisor (P5)

Role

This role will diagnose commercial performance and build sales development programs that drive revenue growth. The leader will identify and prioritize needs, then design and deliver programs and coaching that drive measurable improvements in Crown Castle's Commercial organization.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes sales performance trends and designs programs to address needs of sales groups within the Commercial organization aligned to corporate priorities
  • Measures results from ongoing enablement and learning programs to improve current programs and inform creation of future sales performance transformation programs
  • Creates differentiated approach towards sales-specific transformation programs directly tied to sales behaviors using available levers of influence and engagement strategies
  • Consistently discovers opportunities to refine Crown Castle's approach towards sales working directly with Marketing, Customer Experience, Sales Operations, and Commercial leadership
  • Designs, builds, and implements all sales development programs partnering with training teams and sales leaders while aligned to Customer Experience outcomes and Commercial strategy
  • Involved with developing communication and engagement strategies for existing and new sales tools and features
  • Collaborates with internal teams who support content development, production, and delivery while developing deep relationships with sales managers and salespeople
  • Creates and manages commercial development and enablement roadmap

  • Ability to develop relationships with sales managers and salespeople while discovering natural coaching and development opportunities throughout the organization
  • Ability to analyze and diagnose trends in sales performance data and recommend improvements to sales processes and tools
  • Familiarity with basic sales model concepts (e.g., coverage models, compensation plans, sales segmentation)
  • Ability to continuously prioritize long-term goals and plans with short-term needs - e.g., creating programs to help our sellers meet emerging market opportunities, prioritizing roadmap for equipping commercial teammates
  • Ability to influence conversations and develop relationships within the Commercial organization, thoughtful framing of issues, and building influence through excellent work and relationship development
  • Determine development and enablement priorities in close collaboration with Commercial Business Advisor and key stakeholders
  • Disciplined project management of complex plans with a broad team of stakeholders
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills with an ability to present complex information simply
  • Skilled facilitator in a variety of settings (1:1, small group, and classroomtraining experiences using a multitude of mediums - in person, live-online and digitally on-demand)
  • A constant example of living and modeling Crown's B3 values


Education/Certifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required. Financial acumen and economic thinking required. MBA or masters equivalent preferred.


Experience/Minimum Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience designing & implementing sales development and enablement programs
  • Experience designing, building, and delivering tailored sales development programs, including business-focused curriculum development, and experience designing custom sales enablement programs based on specific needs / opportunities
  • Demonstrated success in a prior enterprise cross-selling/business development role a plus
  • Knowledge of shared infrastructure services, telecommunications / wireless industry preferred

Reports to:Commercial Business Advisor

Title(s) of direct reports (if applicable): Sales Performance Manager

Key Stakeholders:Chief Commercial Officer, sales leadership and salespeople, sales operations, marketing & customer experience leadership, and Business Performance (incl. Learning & Innovation)

Working Conditions: This role falls into our hybrid work model working in your assigned office approximately 60% of the time (3 days per week) and where you do your best work 40% (2 days per week). There is an expectation of collaboration with teammates and stakeholders for moments that matter that could require travel.
