Job Description

What we're looking for:

Working within our Project Management team, the Sales Operations Specialist will be responsible for supporting projects and processes for this team and a liaison between the business, SSC (Shared Service Center – Accounting/Finance) and systems. This position reports to the Project Director and supports the event sales team, with a focus on communication, top notch customer service, and sales operations. Responsibilities include project support of MYS, MSG and SFDC, general reporting and other new projects.

You are accountable for:

  • Support and set up of MYS and Salesforce new show instances
  • Gather show requirements and ensure accuracy of all data
  • Train existing sales colleagues on MYS, Salesforce and MSG
  • Liaison between sales and SSC on orders and reporting
  • Resolve any issues between SSC and business
  • Manage project deadlines and specifications set by Director
  • Other projects as new systems are onboarded
  • Provide MYS and Salesforce support and training to new staff within the Sales and Sales Operations teams

Qualifications

What you bring to the team:

  • 3-5 years of accounting services, administrative support, or systems support experience
  • Must have experience with Salesforce
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Highly organized with excellent ability to balance multiple projects at once, and prioritize tasks as needed
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Comfortable working across multiple systems
