Sales Operations Specialist (remote)

We organise over 500 large-scale branded and transaction-oriented events in 14 specialist markets. These are typically not-to-be-missed annual events where buyers and sellers build relationships, see and show products and do business.
We also provide year-round online platforms where companies showcase their businesses and products and buyers conduct research, generating valuable leads, and we provide data and digital content that supports the flow of knowledge and transactions in markets.
Job Description
What we're looking for:
Working within our Project Management team, the Sales Operations Specialist will be responsible for supporting projects and processes for this team and a liaison between the business, SSC (Shared Service Center – Accounting/Finance) and systems. This position reports to the Project Director and supports the event sales team, with a focus on communication, top notch customer service, and sales operations. Responsibilities include project support of MYS, MSG and SFDC, general reporting and other new projects.
You are accountable for:
- Support and set up of MYS and Salesforce new show instances
- Gather show requirements and ensure accuracy of all data
- Train existing sales colleagues on MYS, Salesforce and MSG
- Liaison between sales and SSC on orders and reporting
- Resolve any issues between SSC and business
- Manage project deadlines and specifications set by Director
- Other projects as new systems are onboarded
- Provide MYS and Salesforce support and training to new staff within the Sales and Sales Operations teams
Qualifications
What you bring to the team:
- 3-5 years of accounting services, administrative support, or systems support experience
- Experience with MapYourShow, Salesforce, or similar systems a plus
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Highly organized with excellent ability to balance multiple projects at once, and prioritize tasks as needed
- Problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Comfortable working across multiple systems
