OVERVIEW
At Instacart we solve for the customer. That extends beyond the hundreds of thousands of consumers we deliver groceries to and includes many leading and emerging consumer packaged goods (CPG) advertisers that want to shape how consumers perceive, shop, and stay loyal to their brands. Instacart’s Brand Partnerships team is focused on serving these clients through our native advertising platform.
We are hiring a Sales Operations Manager who will support the Sales Capability & Strategy team in building and maintaining a holistic end-to-end sales management process inclusive of account segmentation & quota setting, territory development, and measuring team progress against goals. The role is highly cross-functional with engagement between sales leadership, company management, finance, and strategy. We’re continuing to scale at a fast pace and this integral role will really help in paving the way for continued success and implementing best-in-class scalable processes.
Your day to day…
- Manage and refine account segmentation and assist with territory management as well as quota setting process
- Track and analyze key performance metrics within Salesforce including pipeline growth, win/loss rates, and quota attainment
- Develop dashboards and reports utilizing Salesforce to track sales operations and cross-functional efficiencies, and identify areas for improvement
- Partnering with Business Analytics to create and maintain Salesforce forecasting models and data
- Conduct data analyses that will be used to inform strategic decisions
You have...
- 5+ years of experience in a relevant field with demonstrated account segmentation success inclusive of setting sales quotas, ideally in a digital advertising landscape
- Ability to model data and plan for different scenarios
- Exposure to and understanding of digital advertising and digital advertising sales cycle
- Highly proficient in Excel or Google Sheets
- Proficient in Salesforce with experience building & maintaining reports and dashboards
- Strong written & verbal communication
- Excellent attention to detail, follow-through, and resourcefulness
- Ability to independently manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize responsibilities
- Ability to work cross-functionally with many teams and multi-tasks with a sense of urgency
- An interest in working in a fast-growing, fast-paced environment with changing responsibilities, and a willingness to lend a helping hand wherever it’s needed
Nice to Have…
- Experience working closely with a distributed sales team
- Administrative experience with Xactly
- Certified Salesforce Admin
- Experience with Tableau or similar BI tools
