About the Role
The Sales Manager will partner directly with our Head of Sales to lead a team of account executives. You will guide our deal strategy, and play point on hiring, training, and advising new account executives. You will also work with the Sales Leadership Team to help define process enhancements, and help the team hit quarterly goals. You will also collaborate with other department leaders to accelerate Moov's overall growth.
Responsibilities
- You will manage a team of 10 plus account executives
- Define goals, process updates, and sales-related training by partnering with our sales trainer on industry-standard programming and overseeing succession planning for our BDR to AE program
- You will gain the knowledge necessary to be a subject matter expert on Moov's additional services to identify opportunities early in the sales process to upsell clients
- You will instill best practices around pipeline management, data integrity, and proper deal progression
- You will lead pipeline meetings and provide insight into opportunities both within and outside their respective teams
- You will cultivate a supportive yet competitive environment to motivate your team and achieve goals.
- You will also oversee reporting to the sales department leadership
Requirements
- You have 4 or more years of management experience or have been a successful AE that is looking to get into leadership
- You have a low ego, and take ownership of responsibilities
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- You are detail-oriented, process-driven, and persistent in ensuring follow-through of action items
- Displayed a great deal of success within a sales team
- Be data-driven, and experience managing activity metrics and focused on achieving target Goals - all while reporting sales performance to leadership
- Experience leading and training sales teams
- Experience working cross-functionally with teams such as Customer Success, Engineering & Sales Development
- Experience with a CRM and other sales tools for prospecting and insights (ie. Sales Navigator)
- You have experience in Technology sales (preferred)
