About the Sales Manager:

MarketStar currently has a position available in Ogden for a Senior Sales Manager who will successfully lead an inside national sales force, consisting of a channel sales team. This is a quota-bearing position responsible for quota attainment of an entire sales team and requires senior client account management with a directive to protect and grow existing business.

Location: Ogden, UT

What will you do?• Manage client relations and satisfaction, account management, employee effectiveness and productivity, and administration of both MarketStar and client programs, policies, procedures, and practices; ensure client advocacy at all levels of operation • Develop and execute strategic and tactical plans and sales methodologies to ensure the achievement of client and program goals and objectives • Drive the performance of sales teams through employee development, coaching, sale performance management, and motivation strategies to ensure achievement of established goals • Manage successful execution of weekly, monthly and quarterly client deliverables; respond to questions regarding team successes and failures• Manage program budget, including financial decision-making and contract negotiation to ensure sales teams are enabled and motivated to attain revenue quota• Oversee HR-related administrative processes, such as recruiting, interviewing, hiring, employee performance management and evaluations• Provide measurable feedback to team members, including suggestions for improved performance; deliver appropriate recognition and corrective action as needed• Empower and provide leadership, vision and focus to direct reports, as well as indirect sales representatives• Actively develop managers and employees by providing leadership through effective objective setting, delegation, and communication• Maintain regular and clear communication with team members to ensure they are well-informed of changes in programs, policies, procedures and initiatives• Work closely with stakeholders and resources at all levels of the organization to build and maintain positive relationships• Ensure proper administration of policy, practice, and procedure regarding travel, payroll, expense reporting and reimbursement, facilities management, information technology administration, etc.

Skills & Qualifications:• Four or more years' relevant experience and proven success in client relations and account executive management • Four or more years' in the IT software or hardware sales industry• One or more years' analyzing sales data and results• Strong analytical abilities, including the comprehension complex revenue numbers and the process of presenting the analysis to executives• Working knowledge of accounting, sales, finance, and human resources processes and procedures, including employee development and performance management• Proven ability to command a leadership role in a team environment and drive the performance of others• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to partner with client and internal stakeholders to develop relationships of influence• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; engaging and persuasive presentation skills• Highly skilled in organizing, executing, and managing multi-functional projects• Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines and changing priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while maintaining the highest levels of client service and quality• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)• Travel is minimal, but sometimes required
