NewcrestImage is hiring a Sales Manager for our new Canopy by Hilton New Orleans Downtown.

NewcrestImage is a premier company in the hospitality space that designs, builds and operates state-of-the-art hotels for the most renowned brands in the industry. We are a trendsetting company that is acutely focused on culture and that strives to "genuinely care for people so their lives are enriched." We are currently looking for a phenomenal Sales Leader to be a part of our already dynamic preopening team. This person will be responsible for the overall revenue generation for the hotel.

In terms of key responsibilities, first and foremost and just like every other position within our company, this role will advance NewcrestImage's core principles of Excellence, Adaptability, Integrity and Loyalty. While this position will be strategic, the ideal candidate must be able and willing to be "hands-on."

This leader in the hotel will be responsible for execution of the sales and marketing plan. The primary goal will be to achieve Revenue and RevPAR targets for all business segments. Additionally this leader will provide exceptional service to each client, guest, and associate within the hotel.

  • A more elaborate description of the details will be available during the interview process.
  • Achieve Revenue and RevPAR targets for all business segments including personal booking goals.
  • Follow all Sales standard operating procedures and ensure the maintenance of accurate and updated account files and follow-up procedures.
  • Ensure follow up on all sales leads in a timely manner and are recorded properly in the sales tool in accordance with company policy.
  • Identify and analyze competition, both locally and regionally.
  • Maintain high visibility in the surrounding community by attending impactful association meetings as well as other pertinent community activities, including trade shows and promoted events.
  • Develop strategic relationships with third-party providers and business clients.
  • Negotiate rates and promotions. Prepare and present agreements for execution with clients.
  • Detailing group contracts and event BEO's
  • Manage relationships with decision makers at top accounts.
  • Maintain awareness of market situation and its impact on the hotel and anticipate business needs with flexible planning.



Qualifications:

  • 4-year College Degree, or equivalent, related experience.
  • Immediate knowledge of the New Orleans market and the downtown business district
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Willing to travel and must possess a valid driver's license.
