Sales at Crunchbase

Crunchbase is looking for a Sales Manager to help lead the charge in helping as many professionals around the world access opportunities. This is an outstanding opportunity if you're looking to join a well-known organization with an established sales funnel and book of business while crafting the direction and success of the team. As an enthusiastic and creative team leader, you'll be collaborating with your own team, as well as our internal business units, to improve existing processes and help your team continue to exceed their sales goals.

What You'll Do:

  • Attract, Hire, develop, and lead a team of 8-10 Account Executives
  • Help Account Executives exceed their targets through mentorship, deal support and standard methodology sharing
  • Lead key customer relationships at both strategic and tactical levels to support your team and deliver results
  • Enable AEs to master sales skills including qualification, discovery, forecasting, closing techniques
  • Reporting, forecasting, and communicating with data will be critical to your success and will be part of your leadership
  • Guide AEs to successfully achieve promotional breakthroughs via frequent career development discussions
  • Drive lead penetration, high-activity standards and pipeline management
  • Collaborate with product, operations, customer success, and marketing
  • Work with VP of Sales on GTM strategy and execution 

What We're Looking For:

  • 2+ years of experience directly leading and scaling sales teams at a SaaS company
  • 5+ years of experience selling in SaaS preferred
  • Consistent achievement of monthly, quarterly and annual revenue goals
  • Strong grasp of sales process and methodology to qualify and close new & existing business
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work on cross-functional projects while optimally managing a team
  • Experience negotiating and navigating contracts and legal discussions
  • Ability to build positive relationships and foster a hard-working sales culture
  • Positive demeanor with a focus on having a growth mindset
  • BA/BS degree preferred
