Overview
The role of the Sales Manager is to recruit and train a highly qualified staff of loan officers that develop their business from New Customer Acquisition (NCA) generated lead sources. The manager must be actively involved in supporting the business development efforts of their staff while ensuring all elements of compliance and RESPA guidelines are stringently adhered to. The manager must understand the core values of PennyMac and align their conduct accordingly.
Job Description
- Recruit and retain highly qualified NCA Loan Officers with a proven track record of success
- Be actively involved in all elements of production to support organizational objectives
- Meet monthly and quarterly production budgets with a supporting business plan
- Maintain staff and personal licensing and continuing education requirements
- Train, operate and support a culture of high quality and zero defects
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned
- Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization's desired culture and values
Ideal Candidate will have the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or Economics or other relevant degree
- Minimum of ten years residential real estate lending or sales management experience
- Working knowledge of conforming, non-conforming, FHA and jumbo guidelines
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of programs
- Strong business acumen and ability to interface with executive management
