The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a creative and passionate Sales Intern to join us in Raleigh, NC and learn within an innovative and dynamic company. As a Sales Intern, you will work with our team to gain an understanding of the Red Hat's global partner strategy and ecosystem. You'll acquire knowledge of Red Hat's alliance partners, develop insight into partner relationships, contracts, and business objectives, and learn about Red Hat's solutions and various targeted routes to market. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business.
What you will do

  • Assist with developing, designing, and tracking achievement of business goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) of partners
  • Coordinate with alliance account managers on program development and analysis
  • Help plan and deliver programs to guide partner growth and expansion
  • Team up with partner marketing teams to develop program implementation and success measurement plans


What you will bring

  • Ability to work full time May-August
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or finance, or working on an MBA; if you have graduated, be no more than 6 months past your graduation date at the start of the internship
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Project management skills
  • Solid data and analytical skills are a plus
  • Passion for open source and working collaboratively is a plus
