Building on the existing success of InterSystems products in financial services, InterSystems GmbH has an opportunity for a Sales Executive to define and execute a strategy to expand the sales of our core technology products to the financial services industry by recruiting new end users and application partners across the DACH region. 

The Sales Manager is tasked with managing and developing relationships with new solutions partners and end user’s delivering technology led solutions to the financial services industry.  This person will possess expert knowledge of the financial services industry in the DACH region and its organizational challenges as well as a strong understanding of technology and where InterSystems products may be applied.  The Sales Manager is a hunter sales individual with responsibility to identify and nurture application companies and end users that are a good fit for InterSystems partners to deliver technology led solutions to the financial services industry. The successful candidate will have a demonstrable track record of successfully articulating and subsequently selling technology led solutions to financial services organizations through partners. 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the DACH financial services sales proposition and represent the company, at the highest level with the customers
  • Understand the competitive landscape and the InterSystems IRIS Data Platform to articulate the value propostion
  • Foster key enterprise account relationships and solution partners. Meet with CIOs, LOB executives, and other stakeholders
  • Develop account plans with an in-depth understanding of the organizational structure of a targeted prospect and existing accounts
  • Exceed pipeline and revenue targets Partnering with InterSystems internal stakeholders (technical, marketing and business development teams) to develop compelling solutions forcurrent and prospective customers.
  • Work with teams globally to collaborate as needed to further business opportunities
  • Track customer details and activities in our CRM
  • Ensure 100% customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years related sales experience.
  • Proven track record of increasing revenue through new customer and logo acquisition. Strong understanding of how to grow an under-developed or under-penetrated territory.
  • Hunter profile focusing on new business. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Prior experience selling software solutions for data management, interoperability, transaction processing, and analytics in Financial Service.
  • Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills.
  • Capable of quickly learning new software product(s) and clearly communicating it’s value proposition.
  • A proven closer, able to garner commitment every step of sales process
  • BS degree or equivalent
