Duties in Detail

  • As a Sales Engineer you will partner with Account Executives to demonstrate the power of the Revenue.io Platform, helping businesses drive productivity and effectiveness, with best-in-class conversation intelligence and guided selling technology. 
  • Due to Revenue’s deep, best-in-class Salesforce integration, you are not only an advisor on Revenue.io and sales best practices - you also delight in providing general Salesforce best practice consulting. You are a Salesforce expert, with admin experience, andalways advancing your knowledge of the Salesforce.com platform by acquiring Salesforce certifications and/or Trailhead badges.
  • You are passionate about connecting Revenue.io to the prospect’s business - you resist “cookie cutter” demos, and help ensure AEs are thoroughly discovering the prospect’s business before going into demos/solutions. 
  • When you have thorough discovery information, you delight in custom demos that go above and beyond to tailor the demo environment and talk track/s to the customer. 
  • More than a resource for more technical questions, you are a proactive consultant, who thinks underneath simple technical questions in demos, always getting at the heart of the customer’s challenge. 
  • You enjoy teaching (peers and customers).
  • You deliver captivating demonstrations and outline the value of Revenue.io to prospects - it is important for you to be an industry/domain expert (in this case sales and revenue operations), in addition to being a strong technical expert.
  • You orchestrate pre-sales POCs, to help prove the viability of the solutions designed in the sales process, and close business.
  • Where needed, you create detailed, engaging, customer-facing product and technical documentation to aid them in POCs and implementation.
  • You support Account Executives in the occasional response to RFPs/Security questionnaires, and maintain a repository of responses to make this process efficient.
  • As the Revenue platform rapidly innovates and expands, you help lead Sales/CS trainings on new products, how they’re configured, and how they can be best leveraged by customers
  • You specialize in the Sales Engineer role, but you are a teammate who prides themselves in having an impact beyond the role. Ultimately, you are motivated by team/company/business success.
  • You are an eager contributor to other departments, especially Product, where you provide valuable feedback and partnership.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 2 Years customer-facing and previous SE experience in B2B SaaS
  • Extensive knowledge of Salesforce and core objects like Leads, Contacts, Reports, Dashboards, etc
  • Salesforce Administrator / Salesforce App Builder certifications required
  • Experience with Salesforce Flows, Triggers, and Process Builder
  • Bonus experience:
    • Telephony focus - VOIP / WebRTC / Call Routing / IVR
    • Selling to Sales, or experience in the sales engagement space
    • Apex
    • Salesforce Platform Developer 1 certification
