Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience with online advertising technology, ad serving, programmatic advertising, or measurement.



Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with white boarding systems data flow.
  • Experience resolving complex technical issues and making them simple to a variety of audiences, ranging from practitioner to executive.
  • Experience with broader marketing and ad technology space.
  • Excellent problem solving, technical aptitude, and communication skills.

As Platforms Sales Engineer Manager, you will drive acquisition and usage of Google Marketing Platform products for Google's marketers. Our team excels in industry knowledge, knowledge of our products, and how everything integrates together. Our focus is to bring that depth and expertise, and reduce the complexity so that our products seem simple, and perfectly aligned with a customer's business goals.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world's biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird's eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Sales team to go on-site with clients and promote Google Marketing Platform products.
  • Consult with the Sales team on best strategies and approaches.
  • Document and whiteboard the client's data infrastructure in effort to draw a vision of what can be accomplished.
  • Scale out knowledge and successful engagements to up-skill the Sales Engineering team.
