Fivetran is a fast-growing company dominating our market niche and we’re looking for a high-energy Sales Engineer to help us accelerate the real-time data revolution by expanding our product footprint in Germany. What You’ll Do:
- Lead all technical aspects of the product sales cycle, while working closely with Account Executives with ambitious timelines to exceed revenue objectives.
- Qualify new leads during discovery calls and expand the footprint in existing accounts by understanding your customers' goals while educating them on the value proposition of Fivetran.
- Engage in customer meetings where you will give exceptional product demos and perform multiple proof of concepts (POC) in parallel, enabling new customers to be Fivetran advocates.
- Partner with product management and engineering teams to articulate the customer’s goals and challenges
- Contribute to Fivetram customer-facing publications such as white papers and best practices and speak at marketing webinars as needed.

Skills We’re Looking For:
- Demonstrated ability to manage technical pre-sales demos, discovery calls and POC’s
- Collaborative. Capable of working with talented sales team throughout the sales cycle and able to help close high value deals
- Team-oriented. Willingness to help your teammates when in need, while managing multiple priorities and remaining a humble and friendly team player
- Self-starter. Hunger to learn about the latest cloud technologies and stay up to date with industry trends
- Customer-facing experience. Ability to understand customer’s goals and pain points alongside the Sales team to present solutions
- Ability to maintain professionalism under high pressure situations
- Some travel may be required when the Covid-19 situation permits, estimated at 15%. Remote/home office work is possible the rest of the time
- Languages: German & English
