POSITION PROFILE

This position encompasses supporting the sales team in selling Electronic Discovery and Litigation Support Services to top law firms and corporate legal departments within the continental United States. The Solution Architect (SA) will also be responsible for delivering product demonstrations, assisting to perform comprehensive client assessments and creating and presenting high value solutions to Ricoh clients. The SA assists in creation of Statements of Work (SOW) and RFP responses for litigation support and Electronic Discovery projects. This position has a core responsibility of providing end to end solutions to RICOH's clients during all stages of the electronic discovery life cycle within the service offering portfolio. In addition, this position is responsible for assisting operations with the development and documentation of new solutions which may also include the evaluation of both Ricoh and new 3rd party technologies. The SA works closely with the sales team within their assigned territory to develop both market and client strategies and customizing solutions for targeted accounts.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Development
  • Actively participate in the creation of technical strategies to reach company goals.
  • Effectively facilitate activities to identify the client's technical requirements and perform comprehensive workflow and needs assessments both remotely and within client environments.
  • Supports the eDiscovery sales team in delivering both custom and standard product demonstrations to support the strategic account plan.
  • Provides the necessary level of technical support to the sales team in order to effectively deliver SOWs, respond to RFPs, close deals and finalize contracts, including technical writing, validating pricing and terms and conditions.
  • Support and cultivate long-term client relationships to ensure client views Ricoh as a trusted SME for eDiscovery services and build greater loyalty.
  • Participating in the development and delivery of training to sales team for all Ricoh eDiscovery products and services as required.
  • Use CRM --SalesForce.com to record and track all activities and tasks.
  • Maintain up-to-date awareness of activities, industry trends & government regulations by working with internal resources.
  • Recommend new technical products and product modifications as appropriate.
  • Occasional travel will be required when needed.

Internal Management Liaison
  • Coordinate internal transition calls with both the sales team and project management team for all eDiscovery opportunities. It is required on every opportunity in order to communicate current state, and all known details for the opportunity to ensure a smooth on boarding process for existing and new customers.
  • Coordinate an external kick off call with the client in order to introduce the project manager and transition the project to the Project Management team and ensure a smooth and accurate delivery of services.
  • Support project management team with all changes in scope to ensure that the correct pricing and technical support is provided to the client.

Client Management
  • Field customer inquiries, facilitate communicating to appropriate internal channels as required
  • Coordinate with other departments to enhance customer service quality
  • Ensure that all customer inquiries are answered to the clients satisfaction
  • Handle special customer issues
  • Identify customer service improvement opportunities and communicates through appropriate channels
  • Identify customer service problems and communicates through appropriate channels

Market Research
  • Assist with compiling customer and competitor research regarding the use of eDiscovery technologies and services.
  • Assist with compiling information to predict sales potential and market conditions regarding eDiscovery technologies and services
  • Assist with identifying what new competitive products and services are required for Ricoh to remain competitive.
  • Analyze feedback from customers regarding both existing and proposed technologies and services.
  • Provide information to the appropriate internal channels regarding competitors' services and sales activities, distinctive competencies and pricing
