About the opportunity
Ontra is seeking a Sales Enablement Trainer to join our rapidly growing company. The Sales Enablement Trainer will deliver and manage critical training initiatives that support the Sales team’s ability to successfully acquire new customers, onboard new team members, and ensure our sales processes and methodologies are relevant and utilized across the team. The Sales Enablement Trainer will work closely with all parts of the Sales team and cross-functionally with Product Marketing to ensure new hires are credible and ready to sell our solutions, as well as training existing team members in sales best practices and the impact of our solutions.
The Sales Enablement Trainer will report directly to our Director of Sales Enablement, and location is flexible, with a preference for East Coast time zone*.
What you’ll do
- Deliver interactive, relevant training sessions on a variety of topics from the impact of our solutions to sales strategy and best practices
- Work with sellers to help them increase win rates, momentum, and pipeline through virtual and live call shadowing, coaching, and training
- Build partnerships with cross-functional SMEs and stakeholders to understand and prioritize knowledge and skill gaps
- Translate SME’s knowledge and insights into relevant training
- Partner with our Sales Enablement Specialist to craft training curriculum and report on key measures of success
- Collect and surface feedback from the sales team and customer sentiment to orient training programs
What you’ll bring
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in an Account Executive or closing role
- Teaching skills: Ability to break down complex concepts into digestible information, while keeping trainees energized and engaged
- Intellectual curiosity: Desire to continue learning about processes and thinking about ways to improve them
- Organization: Ability to organize and plan things in a methodical way to ensure efficiency
- Passion: An interest and affinity for how people learn
