Department OverviewDRN data's operations team is focused on driving results for it's customers. We serve the largest lenders in the auto industry, insurance carriers for property and casualty and a variety of other verticals. We supply ALPR data & analytics to those customers. The Sales Team is responsible for obtaining leads, working them through the process from lead to opportunity to closure. Both of these groups are vital to the success of the DRN company.
Job Description
The Executive Sales Director will be responsible for building and leading a world-class sales and operations organization and will work cross-functionally to develop and drive the end–to–end sales strategy for the region, reporting to the Senior Executive Director. This leader will be responsible for driving a culture of inclusiveness, teamwork and strong positive results and will manage a team of managers that lead the Business Development, Inside Sales, and Operations groups.
Main Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing and growing the sales organization to support the company’s revenue growth objectives and implement necessary adjustments to optimize performance, move quickly on opportunities, capitalize on markets, and build/refine infrastructure for the future
Assess and improve upon current sales processes, instrumentation, methodologies, and associated discipline. Create and execute short and long-term sales plans, including strategies, goals, tracking mechanisms, compensation, and analytics.
Hire, coach, and inspire sales representatives to build a high functioning team and guide them to achieve profitable annual revenue growth.
In partnership with the rest of the leadership team, craft and execute against the overall sales strategy for the company’s offerings, from initial lead through the entire customer lifecycle to maximize revenue.
Compares sales and profit projections to actual figures and budgeted expenses to actual expenses; makes or oversees any necessary adjustments to future projections and budgets.
Analyzes operations to identify areas in need of reorganization, downsizing, or elimination.
Works with the upper leadership to coordinate planning and establish priorities for the planning process.
Studies long-range economic trends and projects their impact on future growth in sales and market share.
Identifies opportunities for expansion into new product areas.

Additional Qualified Skills:
Bachelors Degree.
10+ years of experience in Sales Leadership experience in a highly matrixed organization.
Established success leading a significant and successful sales organization, ideally within the auto finance & insurance industries.
A proven ability to build and execute on sales pipeline.
A passion and proven ability to implement world-class sales processes, productivity improvements and training programs while using quantitative and analytical skills to drive sales and growth.
A proven ability to accurately forecast on a monthly and quarterly cadence.
Organized leader with the ability to build innovative sales models and strike a strong balance between strategic thinking and tactical execution.
Ability to represent the company with credibility and build strong relationships both internally and externally.
Results-oriented, driven executive who is energetic, resilient, and personally committed to achieving success.
Creative in solving problems and understanding new markets and category creation.
Excellent public speaking and presentation skills.
Strong leadership, motivational and meeting facilitation skills for managing a sales team.
Very comfortable in the “C” suite with experience negotiating complex transactions.
Experience in prioritizing work plan objectives and maintaining focus on the most important enterprise-wide goals.
Demonstrated ability to handle matters of a sensitive and confidential nature and the capacity to maintain composure while working under pressure.
Self-motivated work ethic; demonstrating sound judgment, initiative, and an ability to manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency and accountability to the team.
