Sales Development Representative – Austin, TX
About the Role:
We are seeking a Sales Development Representative to support our Account Executives and Account Managers to generate quality leads that can result into opportunities. This role is significant, as you will be partnering with a team of reps to strategically tackle accounts, knock down doors, promote our products, and handle objections. This is the perfect role for those who are interested in Cybersecurity but may have little experience in either sales or the industry. We offer extensive training that can catapult you into your next opportunity at CrowdStrike.
This role is hybrid, requiring a few days a week in the Austin, TX office.
What you’ll do:
- Gain Cybersecurity SaaS sales experience by working with Account Executives
- Learn corporate selling strategies by running meetings with VP and C-level executives at Fortune 1000 companies
- Understand the cybersecurity technology landscape through industry research and competitive selling
- Learn go-to-market strategy by collaborating with CrowdStrike partners to generate business opportunities
- Use the leading sales software tools to manage your book of business
- Collaborate cross-functionally with multiple teams to understand all the moving parts of a successful startup company
What you’ll need:
- Four-year degree from a University or 2+ years of related experience in a customer facing setting such as retail, hospitality, customer service, marketing, campaigning, etc.
- Passionate about becoming a software sales expert
- Wants to understand the SaaS B2B cybersecurity space
- Interested in learning about technology and enterprise software
- High EQ, IQ and business acumen
- Accepting mentorship from top sales professionals
- Wants to become an expert in business process optimization
