Here at 1-800Accountant, we work primarily with small and medium sized businesses to provide them with access to an Accountant for things like payroll or tax preparation for their business. Then once they sign up for service, they will be assigned an accountant who will help them through both phone and email based correspondence.

Sales Development Representative Job Duties:

• Contacting and qualifying small-business owners to schedule their initial interaction with our sales team 
• Build value in our consultation by educating clients about the tax implications of business ownership as well as upcoming tax deadlines
• You will only be speaking with people who have expressed interest in our services

Requirements:

• Be enthusiastic and have a passion for helping people
• Have the ability to work in a high-energy sales team environment
• Be responsible and reliable
• Have strong work ethic and thrive in a performance-based culture
• Professional phone presentation, excellent listening skills, and strong writing skills
• Previous appointment setting experience is preferred but training will be provided

Minimum Education: High School Diploma, Associates Degree Preferred

Schedule: Monday-Friday /9am-5:30pm

Location: 800 Carillon Parkway, St. Petersburg, FL 33716

Compensation: $14 an hour plus incentives
