As a Sales Development Representative you will have an opportunity to be a strategic contributor -- bringing your driven work ethic and desire to make a meaningful impact. In this role, you will be expected to prospect into marketing inbound leads through high velocity calling and email strategies. Once established contact with the lead, you will qualify the lead with rigorous criteria, document the conversation details, and arrange an appointment for the territory owner to advance the sale. The Sales Development Representative may occasionally be asked to participate in specific call campaigns as well.
The person in this position will become proficient in all products as they interact with prospects and identify ways to meet the needs of all key partners (teachers, administrators and students). The Sales Development Representative will acquire expertise in K-12 purchasing cycles as they relate to school districts, Title I, and other Federal funding guidelines.
This position requires strong communication skills with the ability to identify and respond to customer needs with successful virtual sales campaigns. This position also requires outstanding time management skills with the ability to manage dozens of leads through multiple campaigns, while leading a multi-touch campaign outreach cadence within predetermined timeframes.
Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates area coverage and lead generation campaigns, which includes cold/warm calling and referral based prospecting
  • Consult with customers to identify their needs and align them with solutions and services
  • Develop and manage lead generation activities including but not limited to email campaigns and outbound calling for assigned lead territory
  • Manage inbound calls and emails from our Amplify website as well as other outbound lead management efforts
  • Conduct timely follow-up on leads from activities including but not limited to trade shows, and marketing activities
  • Prioritize leads and accurately maintain activity in relevant CRM systems
  • Participate in weekly meetings and share relevant market feedback


Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years inside sales or sales development experience


Preferred Requirements:

  • Ability to advance knowledge through self-study, training, and experience
  • Knowledge of administration practices, including use of CRM systems
  • Experience collaborating effectively with teams
  • Strong creative-thinking and analytical skills
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, persistent, diligent, and reliable with strong probing skills
  • Consistent record of managing high volume of leads with a strong outbound lead management cadence
  • Interest in education
  • Ability to communicate to diverse audiences, specifically racially, ethnically, and socioeconomically diverse communities
