As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you'll report to our VP of Marketing & Communications on our Marketing team. We're looking for people with a passion for sourcing new sales opportunities in the healthcare market. If you get excited about setting up our Sales Executives for success and growing our sales pipeline, we'd like to speak with you.

The Sales team is a critical component of our go-to-market strategy as it will enable our team to expand our enterprise footprint and scale to uncover new opportunities. As such, this role presents a great opportunity to further develop sales skills and advance career development. Our goal is to create an efficient sales experience and engage prospects in a consultative manner to identify their needs and pain points.

What you will do at Health Gorilla

  • Research prospective clients and acquire high-level contacts.
  • Identify and qualify potential buying organizations, understand prospect goals, and support field executives throughout the sale.
  • Use email outreach, website leads, and other strategic prospecting sources to create leads.
  • Utilize our CRM system, Salesforce, to track activity and manage sales opportunities.
  • Meet quarterly and annual qualified opportunity goals.

What you bring to the role

  • BA or BS degree in a business-related field or equivalent business experience.
  • 2+ years solution selling with infrastructure or software/technology into healthcare organizations at scale.
  • Experience qualifying and engaging cold prospects, and lining up sales meeting for the field executives.
  • Healthcare applications (or similar experience with providers or software development experience) with APIs and FHIR.
  • Outstanding phone presence and ability to speak with nearly anyone.
