Our Business Development Representatives (BDRs) will develop a strong understanding of Facilities Management. You'll serve “on the front line” of our Sales team, making corporations within the retail, restaurant, grocery, and convenience store industries aware of who Vixxo is. Reporting to the Sales Operations Manager, you'll also occasionally support the Marketing Manager on key campaigns targeting our ideal customers. 

What You'll Do

  • Generate leads and pipeline opportunities as a dedicated, collaborative member of our B2B and SaaS technology customers inside sales teams
  • Conduct research on industry trends and company goals to identify potential new business prospects and pre-qualify leads to assist sales team on building a robust pipeline
  • Identify key stakeholders and mobilizers and collect pain points for each prospective customer
  • Conduct outbound phone and email outreach to engage prospects to educate them on industry trends and generate genuine interest in Vixxo’s solution
  • Engage in informative conversations with prospects designed to discover sales opportunities
  • Quickly and confidently establish rapport with prospective customers and stakeholders – assist with building and nurturing relationships
  • Gain commitments through powerful requests and schedule brief web-based meetings for VP, Sales and other call-to-action activities
  • Diligently log activity and collect/document market intel and insights into salesforce.com 
  • Achieve or exceed monthly individual and team goals
  • Assist with inbound leads from marketing generated platforms
  • Utilize consultant e-learnings and strategy for research, approach and relationship building

Our Ideal Candidate Has

  • 0-2 years professional experience (this is an entry-level position)
  • Strong desire to learn and grow and advance in a sales career
  • Recognized work ethic and unwavering desire to consistently exceed goals and achieve results; motivated, disciplined and driven
  • Self-starter with a desire to learn, grow, and excel in their role
  • Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, persuasion and negotiating skills
  • Ability to listen, earn trust, persuade, and confidently communicate with customers
  • High energy, enthusiastic and engaging personality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; impeccable phone presence
  • Strong organizational, time management and follow-up skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize activities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new concepts and technologies
  • Ability to take direction, be coached and mentored
  • Strong web and computer skills; knowledge of CRM tools like salesforce.com to manage sales pipeline activities a plus
  • Collaborative, service-oriented team player with a positive attitude
  • Bachelor’s degree a plus but not required 

What You'll Need

You will need the following to work from home while we temporarily operate in a remote capacity (and follow the most current stay-at-home guidelines)

  • Well-lit, dedicated, and quiet area from where to work remotely without interruption or distraction; must have a neutral visual background
  • Workspace large enough to accommodate one monitor and a notebook computer (which will be provided to you by Vixxo)
  • High Speed Broadband service (wired only) with a minimum of 150 Mbps in a dedicated (single person use) environment or 300 Mbps if in a shared environment (having a backup internet provider is a plus!)
