As the Sales Development Representative (SDR) Manager for the APAC region, you will play an integral role in the success of the sales team across ANZ, South East Asia and Japan. You will be responsible for leading the newly-formed SDR team in APAC, which includes recruiting, training and helping to onboard (along with our Sales Enablement team) a dedicated SDR team that will research accounts, identify key targets, generate interest and help drive discovery calls to stimulate opportunities. 

The SDR Manager will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure your team drives leads to opportunities and helps qualify and nurture new relationships within target accounts. You will strive to consistently achieve qualified opportunity quotas to meet territory revenue objectives.

What are the responsibilities of this role:

Hire, coach, and manage a team of Sales Development RepsTrack sales team metrics and report data to leadership on a regular basisTrain other members of the SDR Team to identify, contact, and create qualified opportunities.Ensure SDR Team members improve performance and abilities over time by providing coaching and feedback in recurring 1:1sMotivate team members through your coaching expertise and utilising incentivesRegularly report on team/individual resultsIdentify and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of Process, Efficiency, & ProductivityWork closely with sales and other members of the leadership team to develop key accounts successfully into new customersWork in collaboration with the APAC Field Marketing Team to develop effective messaging for outbound communications to your team’s assigned accounts. Continue to improve and refine sales pitch and process to achieve optimum resultsHelp create a fun, high energy environment where teams are motivated to succeed . 

Who you are and what makes you qualified: 

2+ years in the software sales space as an SDR Leader 2+ years of experience as an SDR/BDRConsistent track record of quota achievement as an individual contributorProven track record of success as an SDR managerExperience managing and improving Sales Development KPIsExperience using SalesForce, Outreach, SalesNavigator, & other tech stack tools eg. TechTarget Priority EngineSelf-starter with proven success as a sales leader
