Sales Development Representative - Centric
Responsibilities
Paychex is looking for high-energy, driven professionals with sound business insight and natural sales instincts to join our Sales Development organization. SDRs will help lay the foundation of sales efforts through prospecting and articulating the value of Paychex to small and medium-sized businesses. As a Sales Development Representative, you will work strategically with assigned field sales partners to find new clients. As the first line of contact, SDRs are able to understand the diverse business needs of our prospective clients. They are quick on their feet, agile, and possess the ability to overcome objections. As an SDR you will use your business acumen and conversational skills to create qualified opportunities for the full cycle sales team. You will use a process-driven approach to outbound prospecting that incorporates phone/email outreach, lead nurturing, and data gathering/validation/updating while leveraging a robust tech stack.
- Generates appointments for sales representatives utilizing technology as well as targeted telephone, email, webinar, and social media.
- Builds rapport via a multi-touch, nurturing approach.
- Partners with selling representatives to strategically target accounts and identify potential opportunities for Paychex.
- Continually updates and cleans SalesForce.com records.
- Manages calendar, campaigns, timely follow-up and engagement with sales representatives.
- Articulates competitive advantages in conversation and email communication with prospects by highlighting our differentiators.
- Consistently leverages CRM, social media, and automation tools/processes to find opportunities and capture market share via a systematic and disciplined approach.
- Expertise in overall value proposition tied to Paychexs suite of products and services
Qualifications
- High School Diploma - Required
- Bachelors Degree - Preferred
- 1 year of experience in sales support / lead generation experience in a fast paced environment.
