As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be the first point of contact for our customers and demonstrate high levels of professionalism and Box product knowledge. You will be qualifying inbound leads, routing them to Account Executives, and tracking various data points that will help optimize our sales efforts. This is a fantastic opportunity to launch your career in software sales. You will be working in a fast-paced environment and interfacing with all levels of buyers, including senior executives. You will learn how to understand a lead's needs and effectively communicate how Box will meet them by leveraging our key product offerings like Governance, KeySafe, Platform, and Zones.

The SDR team handles all inbound sales leads at Box. Yes, all of them. That's why we need you to join the team to field and route all of these leads to the appropriate Account Executives. This team is a collaborative group and each person brings a new perspective to our sales strategy. We need you to provide a creative outlook and spark new ideas from your unique skill set to increase the team's efficiency and output.

WHO YOU ARE
You are a motivated individual with a growth mindset looking to kick off a career in software sales. You are naturally curious, a strong communicator and have a knack for being quick on your feet. You have a desire to address pain points and transform organizations through our product. You will use these skills to make a positive first impression on all potential customers you interact with. Your engaging communication skills will help you connect with customers, pitch Box's value, and fill our sales pipeline with qualified leads.
Here's the fine print:
- This role is only open to students completing their undergraduate Bachelors degrees in Fall/Winter 2021 and Spring/Summer 2022
Here's what to expect from our interview process:
- This application is open until October 15th, 2021 at 11:59pm PDT.
- You will not hear from us before October 19th! Until the application has closed, all applications will be under review.
- On October 19th, if you are moved forward from the application process, we will send you a video interview to complete in your own time to tell us a little more about yourself, your interest in Sales, and Box.
- Towards the end of October and beginning of November, we watch those video interviews and if we move you forward, you'll be notified about a recruiter phone screen with one of our University Recruiters.
- In November, after we chat with you and move you forward, we'll invite you to attend a virtual panel evaluation in the weeks leading up to Thanksgiving (US Holiday).
- If that panel evaluation goes well, we will schedule a time for the final panel evaluation - most likely the week after Thanksgiving Holiday.
