About Your Role:

  • Lead a team of outbound SDR’s that is part of a large Sales Development organization with several teams and layers
  • Hire, onboard, train, mentor, and scale the SDR team to make outbound calls and send emails to follow-up on inbound leads as well as manage targeted outbound prospecting campaigns
  • Ensure the team meets ongoing goals for generating sales-ready appointments for our Sales team
  • Establish and manage processes and reports for tracking call activity, email activity, service levels, communication quality, and other key metrics
  • Lead by example playing a hands-on role demonstrating SDR best practices and providing regular coaching and review
  • Partner with Demand Generation team to ensure you have adequate lead flow (quantity and quality) to meet goals
  • Partner with Marketing and Content teams to create scripts, sales plays, training, and email content to ensure high quality / efficient communications
  • Partner with Sales Managers to develop mutually agreed-upon guidelines for sales qualified leads
  • Develop processes to continuously analyze and improve team performance

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience building a successful SDR or BDR team for a B2B SaaS/software company that regularly exceeds the quota
  • Hands-on leader who enjoys “rolling up your sleeves” to help build and scale the program – including contacting prospects to help manage the workload as well as demonstrate best practices.
  • Well organized, multi-tasker with great attention to quality and detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to create spreadsheets to model and analyze activity• Experience with Salesforce
  • Experience with GSuite
  • Experience with other technology tools - e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesIntel, LeadIQ, Outreach, Marketo, Engagio, 6Sense, and Everstring preferred
  • Experience leading SDR’s with a defined process and account-based approach
  • Strong understanding of tiered outreach that analyzes engagement, intent, and recency to drive quality sales opportunities
