Sales Development Manager

Position Overview:
We are looking for a smart and dynamic sales leader to lead a Sales Development team at Quickbase. This team is responsible for driving outbound lead activity and qualifying opportunities for the sales organization. In addition to team building and lead qualification, the Manager will be the front-line eyes and ears for the organization as we learn about new markets and buyer personas. This is a great opportunity to help scale the SDR function at a high growth software company. The ideal candidate will be a proven sales performer and have a solid understanding of the qualifying and discovery process.
Responsibilities:
Develop a high performance SDR team through day to day coaching and continuous professional development through:
- Focusing on Meeting/Discovery/Pipeline creation by outbound prospecting
- Coaching SDRs to maintain a consistent call and email attainment
- Developing call plans and prospecting strategy for SDR team in
coordination with sales managers - Working with SDRs and Account Executives to develop account based
selling strategy for target companies - Leading Quickbase Value Selling methodology reinforcement and execution
- Working with SDR Leader to create, implement and reinforce sales training through:
- Driving weekly 1 on 1s and role play sessions
- Classroom sessions
- Leading the hiring process by constantly representing Quickbase at local events and networking for new potential employees
- Maintaining performance management processes for SDR team
- Identifying and researching new buyer personas and verticals with cross-functional teams
- Training new hires on Quickbase CRM, Outreach, and sales processes
- Work cross functionally with Sales and Marketing Managers
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 1+ years of management experience with demonstrated ability to lead a high-performing Sales team
- 3+ years of SaaS selling (closing) experience preferred
- Aptitude and passion for learning technical concepts/terms
- Understanding of inbound and outbound sales methodologies and processes
- Strong interpersonal communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills
- Self-motivated; entrepreneurial spirit
- Experience with CRM and Marketing Automation
- Ability to sell both Net New and Expansion opportunities
