The Role

We are looking for an ambitious, metrics-driven Sales Development Manager who is seeking to scale a SaaS sales organization and drive revenue. You’ll co-manage a growing team of sales development representatives and report into a Director of Sales Development, while working closely with the Revenue Enablement team and Directors of Sales. You should be wildly ambitious, talented and passionate in all that you do; you should live to sell, and love to evangelise disruptive technology products you believe in.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Supervise, mentor, train and support a team of SDRs
  • Manage a team of 10+ Sales Development Representatives conducting weekly 1:1s with each rep 
  • Hire, train and set new members of SDR team up for success 
  • Develop and document best practices, processes, training and onboarding for SDR team
  • Work in tandem with other Sales Development Managers and Directors to source and close new business
  • While you directly manage SDRs, you will work closely with NBD Directors to co-manage pods of SDRs and NBDs, who focus on selling into specific industry verticals. Pods are responsible for sourcing new business and closing the business together. 
  • Collaborate with sales leadership for driving efficiencies and enhancements to ensure that quarterly goals are met
  • Achieve/exceed agreed metrics and KPIs
  • Report exclusively through Hubspot CRM, while also using Salesloft, ZoomInfo, DuxSoup, BombBomb, Sales Navigator and Thnks to achieve outbound goals 
  • Work alongside revenue team to cultivate and expand client relationships with key decision makers at the VP and C-level suite
  • Responsible for helping revenue team source new business meetings through all outbound methods, and responsible for closing pilots in tandem with New Business Directors

Practical stuff we anticipate you having

  • 2+ years of sales/business development experience, in a SaaS business environment
  • Experience supervising, managing & mentoring sales reps
  • Effective communication around individual feedback, strategy for accounts, and career development for team members 
  • Expert in the processes developed 
  • Strong team building skills with the ability to lead from the heart
  • Ability to resolve obstacles with your team and external teams alike
  • Strong business acumen and proven ability to influence decision makers ability to manage influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus building
  • Meticulous organizational skills
  • Mastery of Ceros and how we impact businesses 
  • Strong sense of design and fundamental understanding of digital marketing
