Job Description

What 's the job?

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) Manager will lead Outbound Prospecting SDR Operations. This role has three main focus areas:

The first is to Lead, Inspire, and Motivate the team. This will include leading prospecting activities by example; coaching, training, and supporting our SDRs' daily activities to effectively engage and result in a high performance team and culture!

The second part of the role is Operational; driving optimal strategy, processes, and execution across multi-technology platforms , building and communicating reports, and making intelligent observations that become action plans.

The third is to seamlessly fit into the Sales Leadership team strategically and culturally.

Ultimately, the SDR Manager will ensure strong execution in building a quality sales pipeline for our Account Executives

Qualifications

Soft Skills :

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Strong Listener - thinking before acting

  • Knows how to lead with appreciation and respect

  • Genuinely loves people and supporting them

  • Proactively works to fix and prevent problems

Technical Skills we need:

  • Strong written skills for internal and external communication, especially structuring written outbound prospecting material

  • Knows to how structure Phone Prospecting pitches and can redraft and coach on scripts in a timely manner

  • Experience in creating onboarding and ramp plans

  • Experience in developing continuous training plans

  • Experience with outreach / multi touch Sales Cadences

  • Has a strong understanding of Salesforce

  • Knows how to create and customize views and dashboards

  • Understands sales pipeline and can generate accurate forecasts

  • Has familiarity with sales enablement tools like SalesLoft and/or Outreach

  • Able to troubleshoot problems around numbers and reporting

Daily Job Role:

  • You will report directly to our EMEA Sales Manager and be responsible for weekly forecasting / reporting, training, and general management of the team, as well as for strategizing and scaling the overall plan for sales development.

  • You will accurately help predict viability in hitting sales goals through a strong understanding of the pipeline.

  • You will keep track of your team’s professional skills; identify their strengths and areas of development and apply relevant training and coaching.

  • You will manage your team’s personal needs and maintain high morale.

  • You will contribute and add value to the overall strategy by giving insight and providing feedback.

  • You will be a strong ‘Front Person’ leader bringing energy to the office, to excite and inspire the team!

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Completed Undergrad degree, Graduate degree encouraged

  • SaaS / Software sales experience

  • SDR / Sales background 4+ Years

  • At least 3+ managerial / Sales Leadership experience

  • Has direct experience with heavy prospecting and prospecting processes

  • Has strong expertise and coaching experience in Prospecting across Calling / Email / Social Selling

Nice to have, but not required:

  • Brand Experience
  • Can analyze using Microsoft Excel
