Job Summary

Becomes a subject matter expert on the system aspect related to commissions calculation and reporting. Contributes to the development or improvement of systems to effectively track or capture data. Manages end to end Compensation Plan creation to distribution process. Supports Compensation Manager to calculate commission/incentive award payments to commissionable personnel based on commission plan provisions. Teams up with FP&A team to analyze sales performance results, prepare commission expense reports, presentations and recommendations for sales management.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Administer Xactly Compensation Tool (Incent module) and applicable data feeds from connected system (SFDC) – requires partnership SFDC team and Xactly support team
  • Analyze and distribute standard reports monthly. Serve as a go-to person for ad-hoc reporting out of Xactly (Will Train)
  • Manage end to end process of creating and distribution of compensation plans
  • Create and analyze trend reports. Work closely with managers within the team to put together analytics for sales leaders
  • Support Compensation Manager in:
    • Day to Day administration of the incentive compensation system for all commission eligible employees.
    • Administer monthly and quarterly commission payments --- requires deep partnership with Sales, Sales Ops, CFO, and Accounting
    • Provide value-add insight and recommendation on enhancements, risks, opportunities, provide top-notch customer service to all parties
    • Support the ongoing review, evaluation, and modeling of new or updated sales incentive programs
    • Manage the development and distribution of training, presentation, and other materials for compensation rollouts (annual or quarterly basis)
  • Other ad-hoc reporting, analyses, and support related to incentive compensation, quota attainment, or sales related activities
  • Ideal candidate can be remote - Must be in East Coast

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Proven experience with a CRM tool and understanding of Sales data
  • Ability to learn and be subject matter expert on Xactly (Compensation calculation tool)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to manage granular data and processes while handling executive level reporting and consultation
  • Strong analytical skills combined with polished interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle competing priorities in a high pressure, time sensitive environment
  • Strong team-player

Desirable Skills but not Required

  • Experience in the software industry preferred
