What You'll Do
Delivering business outcomes for enterprise and IT buyers requires a new approach, new capabilities and new relationships. An entirely new route to market and engagement model. Thats where our GSI's come in with the expertize and cross-industry experience engaging primarily with our customers C-Level and focusing on addressing customer needs.
This position for the Global Systems Integrators (GSI's) - Business Development Manager (Americas) is responsible for evangelizing and enabling joint solution offer awareness and opportunity between the GSI's and Cisco Sale in the United States. You will work cross functionally with the Global Partner Organization, Business Units, Marketing and sales teams to create alignment and pipeline for the Americas.
Who You Are
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years and experience working with / for GSI's. You will possess both a business background that enables engagement at the CXO level, as well as a sales background that promotes relevance to sales organizations both within Cisco and preferably the GSI's. You are a strategic problem solver about business, product and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions. Understanding and experience with GSI's like Deloitte and Ernst & Young is preferred but not crucial.
Additional critical areas of experience and expertise
1. Intimate knowledge of how GSI's operate and engage with organizations like Cisco.
2. Workflow and business process expertise.
3. Experience working within a geographically dispersed environment with strong influencing and teamwork skills.
4. Strong program management experience in leading complex relationships
5. Strong business planning and presentation skills
