Job Description

North 40 Outfitters in Spokane, WA (West Location) is looking to hire a reliable and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Full-Time Hardside Associate. We believe that each team member plays a vital role in the success of our company, and we are looking for authentic and enthusiastic people who love our lifestyle and believe in service before self. Qualifications

• Willingness to share credit, work with others in a team environment, and define success collectively rather than individually
• Ability to take initiative, embrace change, and learn new things
• Drive to be dependable, and to perform well against the expectations of the role
• Provide phenomenal customer service to our North 40 guests, recommending and supplying solutions to their needs
• Knowledge of general hardware, plumbing, and electrical merchandise preferred
• Previous retail environment experience preferred, particularly in Hardside
• Operate forklifts and other machinery as trained and certified
• Must be propane certifiable
• Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs. frequently, spend up to 100% of work time, other than breaks, standing and moving, climbing and kneeling on concrete or hard surfaces; use of forklifts, pallet jacks, ladders, and rolling staircases. Consistent adherence to safety standards

As a Hardside Associate at North 40, your main priority is to connect with our customers and be a genuine resource on our products. You play a key role in the overall customer experience by providing outstanding customer service, accurate product information, and solution recommendations for our customer’s needs.To support maintaining an impressive environment for our customers, you will help with stocking and merchandising products, and safeguarding company assets. You are committed to doing a job well – and you demonstrate that by your willingness to learn, your reliability, and your genuine interest in and support of your teammates.

WORK SCHEDULE FOR A HARDSIDE ASSOCIATE

This full-time position requires the ability to work all scheduled shifts between the business hours of Mon-Sat 7 am to 7 pm, and Sunday 9 am to 5 pm. This shift can include working weekends and certain holidays and will require flexibility in scheduling based on business needs.
