Seeking Sales Person to add to our team: Clinical Synergy Sales and Service Representative

Clinical Synergy is an organization that sells and rents medical equipment and devices. Examples of such items include specialty hospital beds, therapeutic mattress systems, equipment to assist obese individuals, people with wounds, and those at risk of falling. Our territory covers Nebraska and Iowa and we primarily serve Hospitals and Long Term Care Facilities. Our company is currently looking for one full-time Sales and Service Representative.

JOB DUTIES:
  • Must be able to schedule appointments with key Decision Makers and Decision Influencers. (Materials Management/ Purchasing, Nursing, and Administration)
  • Must be able to generate interest in our Products and Programs.
  • Develop strong customer relationships by calling on current and potential customers.
  • Work with Service Technicians to ensure we are exceeding our customers expectations for Service.
  • Provide in-service training and education to facility staff members when required.
  • Work with company leadership team to secure and implement new business within our Markets.
  • Aquire an in-depth knowledge of the Clinical Solutions product and service offerings to effectively sell to healthcare facilities.
  • Achieve sales and rental goals for assigned territory.
  • Applies consultative and strategic selling skills, as well as technical expertise, to develop and manage our customer base.
  • You will plan sales and service activities to ensure that accounts are actively and routinely visited.
  • Interface with various healthcare facility departments, responding to questions and concerns regarding our products and services.
  • Will be required to submit weekly Call and Appointment logs.
  • Demonstrate a quality culture as evidenced by personal behaviours.
  • Responsible for participation in trade shows and other marketing opportunities in territory.
  • Responsible for territory growth through cross selling to existing customers as well as development of new customers.
QUALIFICATION:

To be considered for this position you must meet ALL of the following requirements:
  • Have a proven background in outside business to business sales / service [NO RETAIL].
  • Be willing and able to drive up to 250 miles per day, 3 days a week using your personal vehicle
  • Demonstrate intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Have a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Medical or Science related disciplines.
  • 1-3 years professional business to business sales experience.
  • Medical sales experience is preferred but not required.

  • Generous base salary first 6 months, progress reviews at 60, 120, and 180 days.
  • After 6 months salary will convert to straight commision arrangement.
The primary responsibility will consist of scheduling appointments with existing and potential customers. Meeting with them to identify products or programs which may benefit their organization as well patients and residents within the organization. Schedule and conduct product demonstrations and inservices.

This job requires good time management skills, excellent customer service skills, and strong attention to detail. Qualified applicants must also be able to push beds which weigh up to 500 lbs, and lift up to 80 lbs. Individuals applying for this position should also have a good driving record, a valid state operators license, and the ability to drive a company vehicle. Previous medical sales experience is not required.
