Role Summary
Assists in the preparation of Magna Seating (MS) quotations, marketing activities, and servicing of non-production accounts. Supports the sales and application teams with the collection and verification of commercial information. Supports ongoing sales objectives of increasing market share, optimizing profitability, and maintaining the positive perception of Magna Seating (MS) as a world-class supplier. Completes the following duties and responsibilities with the support of senior sales personnel and/or sales management.
Key Responsibilities
• Supports sales team with the completion of tasks to ensure compliance to program objectives and commercial targets.• Supports compilation of sales and marketing content for Product Delivery Process (PDP) and business documentation between the customer and MS.• Updates commercial issues list. Compiles commercial/technical reports for sales personnel. • Assists in preparing necessary supporting information for engineering change submissions to the customer.• Coordinates sample submissions to customer and tracks recovery status.• Assists in determining/identifying customer needs.• Monitors industry trends and competitive information and regularly communicates them to the Director of Sales.• Promotes MS to the customer. Aligns customer communications with MS policies, philosophy, structure, capabilities, business plans, and strategy. Works to ensure customers view MS as innovative, proactive, and capable.• Assists sales team in preparing necessary documentation for service quotations and including submission of pricing, tracks the status and response time. • Inputs information into customer databases, as necessary.• Assists marketing personnel in maintaining competitor database.• Assists in developing customer presentations.• Supports Internal / External Audit efforts regarding ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949 Certification for remote site location (Group Office).• Supports the requirements as detailed in Standard Operating Procedure 8000 (Quality Management System).• Ensure employees work in the manner consistent with the organizations established objectives and targets utilizing protective equipment, devices, measures, and procedures as promulgated by state and federal regulations. Establish clear goals for workplace health and safety. Complete safety talks, safety meetings, and required training occur, as defined.

Education
Bachelor's Degree (or bachelor's equivalency) in Business Administration, Engineering or related field, or combination of equivalent education and work experience.
Experience/Special Knowledge/Skills
Two (2) years' experience in automotive sales, program management, or engineering management preferred.
Strong communication skills: verbal and written.
Customer-networking abilities.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to successfully complete multiple tasks within established and changing deadlines.
Demonstrated successful performance with independent problem solving and presentations.
Proficient with word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and database applications.
Valid driver's license.
Skills Testing
No skills testing required.
Physical Demands/Work Environment
Normal amount of sitting or standing, average mobility to move around an office environment, able to conduct normal amount of work at a computer, travel required.
