RapidDeploy is seeking a highly motivated, energetic hunter to help fuel our continued growth in mission critical software services. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, the Sales Account Executive is responsible for all phases of the sales cycle at RapidDeploy. You will be a trusted partner to prospective customers and an advocate for RapidDeploy’ s products and mission…” Saving lives by reducing response times”. This role is specifically focused on developing and closing new sales opportunities and working with these agencies to educate them on the value and benefit of RapidDeploy SaaS public safety solutions. This is a virtual position with at least 50% travel expectations.


  • Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or Communications 


  • 3 years + selling SaaS Software
  • Experience selling to State Agencies and/or County Agencies
  • Preferred experience or knowledge in emergency services or public safety
  • Track record in managing the full sales life cycle from pre-sales to implementation ensuring a positive customer experience
  • Demonstrated experience and success working in a fast paced and fast growing company
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Enthusiastic attitude with a focus of delivering results
  • Experience using a sales tracking tool/CRM
  • Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders and successfully managing multiple sales opportunities
  • Solid understanding technology: cloud computing, enterprise software, and data analytics
  • Passionate and articulate with excellent personal and phone presence
  • Enthusiastic attitude with a personal focus on delivering to sales targets and company goals

Essential Job Functions

  • Meet or exceed assigned sales targets (ie. Lead Generation, ARR, TCV)
  • Manage customer relationships in a respectful, supportive and consultive manner
  • Seek to hold prospective customers accountable to their part in delivering to a co-created vision and timeline
  • Maintain current knowledge of the company’s solutions, industry, and competitive differences
  • Clearly communicate Rapid Deploy’s value and mission
  • Act as a steward of the company in a professional manner at trade shows, social interactions, meetings and other industry events
  • Maintain accurate and timely sales information in the company designated sales tool/CRM
  • Consistent utilization of RapidDeploy’s sales process and sales enablement tools
  • Be a challenger – understand your target market, issues, decision makers, funding sources and proactively bring solutions that will provide a successful path for sales execution
  • Ensure RFP responses are properly aligned with the desired client and company outcomes
  • Positive collaboration and communication with all team members across the RapidDeploy organization
  • Availability to travel at least 50%

What does your typical day look like?

My typical day is never the same. I interact with customers to help optimize their operations, and I am also on our employee engagement committee. Although I am new, I am learning more and more about the tech side of the business versus the field (public safety/PSAP) in which I came from. I love that RD celebrates all of its employees!
