RVP, Enterprise Sales

The RVP, Enterprise Sales has overall revenue responsibility for the Enterprise segment in Northern California. The successful candidate will set the objectives for and provide leadership to a dynamic sales team and deliver sales according to our growth plans. Strong business acumen and experience in driving a high growth software business are essential to be successful in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for achieving revenue growth across all revenue channels in the region
  • Execute growth plans, including sales, consulting services, and education services
  • Coach on the Alteryx sales methodologies and ensure consistent approach across the sales team
  • Set targets and goals for the sales team that are consistent with the company’s expectations.
  • Join sales teams in the field on join sales calls
  • Set and reviews performance and sales goals of sales team
  • Define and track sales team KPI’s and goals in day-to-day performance, pipeline development and increased product knowledge
  • Determine head count requirements and develop plans for the team and region
  • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews
  • Responsible for recruitment and hiring of staff
  • Act as the executive sponsor for high potential accounts
  • Interpret and adheres to sales policies and advises the sales team in the handling of these policies
  • Deliver timely and accurate sales forecasts to executive team

Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years of experience in software sales
  • 4+ years' experience managing sales teams, first line sales managers
  • Success in fast-growing company environments
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully achieving sales targets in a high growth environment
  • Demonstrated understanding of the differences in sales cultures across different countries in EMEA, specifically UK, Netherlands, Denmark and Sweden
  • Demonstrated understanding of strategic sales techniques in a high transaction environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree
