Reinsurance Account Executive

Work directly with the Head of Reinsurance to bring on new clients and fuel rapid departmental growth. Corvus Smart Cyber Reinsurance provides insurers with a turn-key cyber reinsurance solution, enabling the insurer to embed cyber coverage into its core insurance policies. Responsible for supporting the Reinsurance sales process, including:
- Coordinating Corvus and client teams from initial discussions through close of sale
- Drive each prospect through required internal approval processes
- Coordinate responses to client questions and other sales-related follow up
- Manage all live opportunities and identify efficiencies to streamline the pitching process
- Ensure hard-hitting meeting collateral is available for each client meeting, including agenda, discussion materials, and tech demonstrations
- Assist with new client prospecting via leading/attending client meetings, conference preparation and attendance, and designing and attending prospecting trips
- Outside of the Reinsurance team, role will interact primarily with underwriting, actuarial, marketing and technology teams
- Target market includes mid-sized P&C carriers, departments within large P&C carriers, program managers, captive insurers and risk pools
Requirements:
- Understanding of embedded cyber insurance
- Help Corvus Reinsurance grow by working with senior leaders to expand and accelerate the sales pipeline
- Proactive and outgoing approach
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong project management skills
- Minimum of 5 years of Sales experience
- Minimum of 1-2 years of cyber reinsurance experience
- Highly organized with superb attention to detail
- Strong problem solving and decision making capabilities
- Customer service-oriented with the ability to work efficiently while paying close attention to detail
- Strong communication capability with good written skills and excellent verbal skills
- Adhere to company policies and practices; If they don't work, suggest an alternative
- Desire to learn about new technology
