What you will do for Russelectric:

As a Regional Sales Manager with the world's most respected manufacturer of automatic transfer switches and power control systems, you will lead Russelectric's sales efforts in the eastern region. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to help a great sales and manufacturing organization become even better!

Your expertise will help this manufacturing organization improve their ability to make the world a safer and more reliable place: think hospitals, data centers, utilities, mass transportation, and other aspects of life as we know it that need reliable power systems. You will be part of providing solutions to the world's growing need for dependable critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Direct Russelectric's independent Sales Representative Organizations for the East Coast to meet budget and other financial goals.
  • Demonstrate successful execution of all customer-facing business strategies for Russelectric's products and services
  • Establish sales performance goals and key metrics supporting the sales in the region, from prospecting through after-sales support.
  • Direct planning (short-term and long-range) and budget development to support strategic goals in the region.
  • Direct the execution of operating policies to support overall company policies and objectives.
  • Demonstrate solid working knowledge of budgeting, sales, business development, and operations management.
  • Manage quality control of various activities regarding customer service and product deployment
  • Ensure all work and activity comply with legal methods, general duty care, and management.
  • Set and assign operational goals for representatives' organizations.
  • Implement and manage daily/weekly/monthly performance metrics/scorecards.

Qualifications:

  • Where permitted by applicable law, Siemens may require employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 based on job requirements, and in accordance with an accommodation based on legally protected reasons.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or marketing preferred; High school diploma or state-recognized GED required
  • Ability to travel 60%
  • Results-based sales management/ leadership required in the electrical equipment market environment, with a successful track record of leading and growing operations to deliver growth and profitability.
  • Experience required in one of these industries: HV/MV/LV Electrical equipment, mission critical, auxiliary generation, or related engineering and field services.
  • Experience working with outside sales representative/agent organizations preferred
  • Experience in financial reporting and consolidation, technical accounting, and process improvement required; demonstrated ability to perform these functions independently, effectively, and with attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills in English, with proven ability to communicate and collaborate with all levels of the organization while leading, influencing, and motivating
  • Strong functional and technical knowledge, including a demonstrated understanding of common business practices as related to sales budgeting, and Customer Relationship Management (quoting, orders)
  • Tenacity and energy in leading change toward an effective work environment
