About the Regional Sales Manager role:

In this role, you are responsible for the growth and expansion of direct sales and profit margins within assigned accounts and/or territory/region on products and services. You will establish professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts and meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and margin dollars.

  • Responsible for determining price levels and commission for all projects in your assigned territory
  • Responsible for system sizing for all municipal systems
  • Responsible for all Purchase Orders, sales targets, tenders
  • Responsible for negotiation of Terms & Conditions
  • Accountable for the development and achievement in forecasting quarterly, annual & long-term territory, PO, and Bid volumes
  • Develop sales goals into an annual comprehensive territory execution plan for each Representative firm
  • Identify any potential sales opportunities and provide required information for business cases to be developed
  • Establishes & maintains effective day-to-day operational relationships with channel partners, agents, OEM's within the assigned territory
  • Leads by example and works with Representatives to ensure quarterly and annual sales targets are understood, constantly in view, and met (if not exceeded) for the assigned territory
  • Ensures daily management of Representative performance on a project-by-project basis by using the Project Funnel
  • Reviews performance with Representatives when shortfalls in activities or outputs emerge
  • Highly organized to ensure that required travel activities produce optimal benefits with multiple constituents and/or stakeholders while being contained within budgeted levels
  • Implements - and supports the continuous improvement of - a high-efficiency, high-capacity sales process that drives multifaceted market penetration & revenue growth


Your assigned territory includes Wisconsin, Minnesota, Missouri, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, and Indiana.

Are you qualified?

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; Engineering background preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant technical and/or sales experience
  • Marketing, Business planning, and overall leadership strength
  • Demonstrated skill and experience in planning and implementing sales plans
  • Strategic thinking and tactical implementation capability
  • Strong customer focus; Ability to build and sustain positive, collaborative relationships with our customers, both internally and externally
  • Travel required: Up to 60%
