Fluidra is seeking a Commercial Sales Manager that will cover the South-Central territory consisting of Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Alabama and Tennessee.
 

WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE 

The commercial pool segment is one of Fluidra’s top global initiatives. This is a strategically critical, high-profile role. Responsible for the sales activities in the commercial segment of the U.S. in the assigned states of the Western Region. This includes coordination with the overall North American sales force to drive commercial segment sales. This role requires a proactive approach to create and execute a sales plan that focuses on achieving our short and long-term sales goals.

 

This role requires a highly motivated, resourceful sales professional that can analyze the market, create competitive comparisons and establish tactics to win new customers and grow our market share. This is a key leadership role that requires the ability to establish effective communications with appropriate executives and managers to maximize organization's sales effectiveness and growth. Additionally, you will:

 

DRIVE COMPANY GOALS AND RESULTS

 

  • Be a key contributor in the strategy creation and market execution of all components of the Commercial Pool Segment Business Unit
    Execute annual tactical plan to realize sales budget.
  • Lead the field sales efforts in the assigned geography to provide customer support and recruit new customers to purchase Fluidra Branded products.
  • Provide input on sales and demand forecasting to help support manufacturing execution
  • Meets with key clients, dealers, distributors, and assist sales representatives with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals
  • Manage expenses and sales accommodations to assigned budget levels.
  • Support contract negotiations, close sales and develop sales strategies for key accounts
  • Assist in setting annual sales targets and goals and create annual sales budgets.
  • Keep Marketing, colleagues and team informed of competitive new products, services, and other market data

 

LEADERSHIP, DEVELOPMENT & EXPERTISE IN INDUSTRY CODE & COMPLIANCE

 

  • Act as our industry representative on industry councils, and code writing committees
  • Bring code and compliance trends and information to internal Fluidra department to keep us abreast of evolving code trends
  • Participate in assigned education and training conferences on sales and leadership
  • Influence and provide technical expertise in PHTA industry technical bulletins and product information guidelines
  • Support Tech Support in resolving customer issues
  • Coordinate between field service and sales to resolve customer issues
  • Adopt and embrace the Company Values, Mission and Vision
  • Ensure effective working relationships with all internal departments
  • Accomplish sales and organizational goals as required to meet or exceed company objectives
  • Perform other duties as assigned or needed

 

 

WHAT WE SEEK

  • Minimum of 8+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Proficiency in SalesForce.com CRM to track leads, set opportunities, schedule calendars for hunting and farming target customers
  • Proficiency is Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrate leadership, sales planning, negotiation, and customer service skills
  • Communication proficiency (verbal and written) and strong presentation skills
  • Proven track record growing product sales in a construction-based product industry
  • Pool industry experience in a senior sales role
  • Experience with Commercial Pool segment customers and the sales processes
  • Ability to travel throughout U.S. and Canada with a Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Travel by air & car is required, approximately 50% of job-related time will be in overnight travel

 PREFERRED

 

  • Strong sales relationships with commercial pool industry stakeholders
  • Outside sales experience with Aquatic Design Firms
  • Proven track record of sales growth and achieving sales targets for a manufacturer of commercial swimming pool products

 

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
