About The Role:

We are seeking an aggressive and hard-working impact-player FinTech Regional Sales Manager who is passionate about serving financial institutions with a state-of-the-art cloud-based digital business banking solution. Ideal candidates have a proven track record of meeting and/or exceeding quotas. You will be a true hunter with the ability to build and manage transactions from inception to close as well as cultivate and develop current client relationships. This person will have a proven track record of contributions, especially in startups, and is eager to support StreetShares products.


You will work with the business development team to identify, segment, and pursue key relationships within our valuable strategic partners including a nationally recognized community bank association, a global financial technology core provider, and numerous state and affinity organizations. With these partners, we need to develop and articulate a solid product message around our platform and fill the sales funnel with financial institution leads. The Regional Sales Manager will report to the VP of Sales and will be responsible for supporting our channel growth initiatives this year.


The primary responsibilities of this position include:

1.) Sales Activities 

•Engage with leads from strategic partners throughout the full sales cycle - opening to close.

•Speak with and close senior leaders from financial institutions to include CEOs, Chief Lending Officers, and others. 

•Build and maintain a sales pipeline through sales demonstrations, shows, high visibility presentations, and more. 

•Accept lead generation handoff, track sales opportunities in SFDC.

•Regularly communicate with executive level team members on goals and current progress.

•Independently maintain and manage existing client accounts and identify new upsell opportunities.

•Partner with StreetShares Business Development Executives to manage lead hand-offs.

2.) Market Intelligence

•Stay on top of the competitive landscape and know our performance in it to anticipate market trends and client needs.

•Develop competitive intelligence, threat assessment, actionable insight and use that to drive your sales strategy, demand generation and field enablement.

3.) Culture and Engagement

•In collaboration with leadership, provide recommendations and best practices to foster a culture of mission-driven results and employee engagement.

•Be part of a positive, aggressive sales team.


About You:

•Minimum of 3 years of relevant sales experience, especially in B2B

•Solid experience with FinTech products, SaaS sales, and inside/outside sales models

•Knowledge of Banking / Financial Services commercial lending programs and products and a general understanding of underwriting and risk mitigation. 

•Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success

•Demonstrated ability to consistently meet/exceed quotas

•Ability to travel (less than 40%)

•High level of goal attainment

•Strong written, verbal, editing, and presentation skills

•Familiarity with CRM systems, Salesforce experience a plus

•Strong personal charisma and vision for the future

•Sense of urgency and passion for winning
