About this Opportunity
The Regional Sales Director will lead a team of Regional Account Executives to ensure that the assigned field/region consistently reaches revenue targets. This leader must inspire, coach, and challenge their sellers to up-level performance in a high-growth, dynamic sales environment.
What You Will Do
- Provide hands-on mentorship and guidance to each Regional Account Executive on effective sales methodologies from discovery, qualification of leads, assessment of buyer profiles, deal closure, and contract renewals
- Coach sellers to achieve assigned metrics of cold calls, sales presentations, pipeline creation, and quota attainment
- Recruit, hire, train, develop, and retain sellers by using creative incentives and a team-focused approach
- Roll up your sleeves and jump into the trenches as needed utilizing daily huddles, paired cold-calling and sales demonstrations, and attendance at industry conferences to bolster your team's performance
- Work with peers in sales management and departments like sales ops, sales enablement, or customer success to build best practices and process efficiencies
- Provide upward feedback to the VP of Regional Sales based on field takeaways
Who You Are
- A bachelor's degree graduate with a proven track record leading a successful sales team for 4+ years
- Adept at hiring, managing, and developing sales professionals
- Strong in communication - written, verbal, and interpersonal
- Experienced in outside B2B sales; Multifamily industry sales is preferred
- Proficient in Salesforce and/or other CRM
- Able to work remotely and lead a remote team (especially during the pandemic)
- Willing to travel to the field (60-80% of the time) for training sales reps and attendance at trade shows and conferences
